It was a crisp Halloween morning.....
the air chilled to perfection, and I found myself standing by the trash cans at work. The clock had just struck 7:30 AM, and the world was still cloaked in the hush of dawn. As I went about my morning routine, a distinctive sound pierced through the tranquility—the unmistakable call of a crow.
Drawn by the haunting beauty of that sound, I couldn’t resist the urge to investigate further. I knew I had to capture this moment, so I quickly reached for my phone, determined to snap a picture of the crow that had called out to me. Little did I know that this simple act would set in motion a series of events that would leave me both amazed and mystified.
Later that morning, during my break, I glanced at the picture I had taken. It was more than just a photo of a crow; it was a snapshot of a unique and surreal moment. It was as if something from the heavens was reaching out to me, much like an experience I had once had at a cemetery.
You see, not long ago, I had visited a cemetery, and as I stood there, a radiant light had beamed down from the sky. It was akin to a celestial red carpet, inviting me to explore the mysteries of the cemetery. The memory of that moment had stayed with me, and now, looking at this picture, I couldn’t help but see a striking resemblance.
In the photograph, a streak of light appeared to be descending from the heavens, not unlike the way that light had once beckoned me into the cemetery. It was an ethereal connection, a bridge between two seemingly unrelated moments in time. But the true revelation was yet to come.
I continued to study the picture while I was walking with my kids as they were trick or treating. I noticed something extraordinary. Within the streak of light, there was a face, distinct and undeniable. It was as if the universe had painted a portrait in the streak of light, and it was right next to me as took that picture. The light appeared to emerge overhead from the very same area where the cemetery was located, adding an eerie yet enchanting layer to the mystery.
But the enigma didn’t stop there. The colors that composed the face were the same as those found on the shield of our town, Angola, or as it was known 200 years ago, Aton. This historical shield bore the emblem of the Eye of Ra, the ancient Egyptian god of the sun. The ray of light in the photograph seemed to emanate from the sun itself, a celestial connection that couldn’t be dismissed as mere coincidence.
The resemblance was uncanny, and the symbolism profound. It was as if the universe had orchestrated a tableau, using the elements of nature to create a message. The crow’s call, the streak of light, the face, and the Eye of Ra all seemed to converge in a symphony of cosmic design, leaving me in awe of the mysteries that surround us.
This moment, captured by a seemingly innocuous photograph, was a testament to the interconnectedness of life and the universe’s enigmatic ways of communicating with us. It was a reminder that there is always more to the world than meets the eye, and sometimes, we need to embrace the inexplicable to truly appreciate the magic of existence.
